I never got to meet Dylan Thomas personally but Paolo was 45 to my 18 when we met, and although I know an end must come to each of us, it grieves me to know his end must be near. He's been frail for some time, I know that.

If I could, I'd teletransport myself to Cosanti right now to give him a hug and tell him straight out he was never so alone as he thought he was. Arcosanti,  his grand vision, altered the lives of many people, not just mine. I'd thank him for the gift he gave to all of us, to all the world. Not too late - never too late - and not too soon. Never too soon.
